Title: The František Běhounek Award for Accessible and Popularization of Czech Science in the European Research Area was awarded to Jana Kalbacova Vejpravova
Number: 15/17
Status: Closing date exceeded
Location: Prague, November 27, 2019

The František Běhounek Award for Accessible and Popularization of Czech Science in the European Research Area was awarded to doc. RNDr. Jana Kalbacova Vejpravova, Ph.D.

for her research on magnetic nanoparticles and two-dimensional materials. In 2016, I am the only one from the Czech Republic to receive a start-up grant from the European Research Council (ERC), which is hopeful scientists at the start of their own groups. The five-year project TSuNAMI is dedicated to magnetic spin hybrids for biomedical and quantum information technologies.
