Abstract 

Superconductivity emerges from an antiferromagnetic insulating state in Cs3C60 on tuning a single electronic parameter, the ratio of the on-site Coulomb energy, U, over the electronic bandwidth, W, similar to the cuprates and heavy fermion systems. The tuning of U/W can be achieved through both chemical means (using systematic substitution of smaller K or Rb for Cs) and by the application of pressure. I will present experimental results investigating the comparability of these two tuning mechanisms and derive an electronic phase diagram for the A3C60 system, showing a dome-like dependence of Tc on U/W (V per C60) reminiscent of the cuprates and other unconventional superconducting systems.
