- Materials: intermetallic compounds and alloys, and oxides in polycrystalline and single crystalline form;
- Methods: sample synthesis by Czochralski, Bridgman, and floating-zone methods; scanning electron microscopy; materials characterization by means of magnetization, ac-susceptibility, specific heat, electrical resistivity; low-temperature and high-temperature X-ray and neutron scattering;
- Topics: lattice and magnetic excitations in the matter, structure stability of materials, electronic properties of compounds
