Education and scientific-pedagogical titles
- 1986 - 1992: Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague, thesis "Study of heat capacity of the compounds of structure CeCu2";
- 1992 - 1997: PhD student at Charles University; dissertation "The magnetic behavior of compounds RNiAl and RCuAl", the title of Dr.
- from 10.01 1997: Lecturer at MFF UK
- from 01.07 2004: Associate Professor at MFF UK; thesis "Magnetic structures in intermetallic compounds of rare earth and actinide".

Longer study and working abroad
- 1992/93 - 6 months at the TU Wien (Institute for Experimental Physics)

- Magnetism of intermetallic compounds of rare earth and uranium compounds.
- Study of crystal field.
- Neutron diffraction, thermal capacity.
Expertise
- Determination of magnetic structures by neutron diffraction.
- Crystal field studies using neutron scattering and heat capacity.
- Sample preparation in an arc furnace, a modified Czochralski method in trojobloukové furnace, Analysis of X-ray (powder samples, single crystals).
- Measurement and analysis of heat capacity, magnetization, electrical resistivity.
